Cwmdu Village Hall
Wednesday (7th October) club run info....please meet at Cwmdu village hall car park 7pm promt, road is open to here, ignore closure signs unless you are coming from Talgarth direction.
We will be going up to Pentir but the proper summit which is kind of off piste and by the ponds, sometimes know as the ponds of gloom but really quite beautiful, still off piste as we head down into the Sorgwm Valley via the rocky, steep, rivery, slippery track. Then some flat work where the bracken has been bailed before we take a sharp steep accent on another rather rocky, muddy, single track. We should, if I have got the route right emerge at the race route cairn, where we can decide if we want to add on a lovely mile ish loop to the llangors trig . Then we can pelt it back. Should be around 7 miles if we do it all. Today it was really, really wet and muddy. Most of the paths were streams and the down hills interesting. Basically you might need some grip. Please be independent and self sufficient with your kit it is very exposed up there. Bring a fully charged head torch and a compass .
To be sure of a place let us know you are coming by commenting in the Facebook Training group or emailing Rona.
