Mynydd Du is a fell running club based around the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons in South Wales, for runners who like racing and training on the hills.
We train (or jog) together once or twice a week, and are a force to be reckoned with at races in South Wales and beyond (are we sure about this? Ed.).
We organise a handful races - almost certainly the best in the calendar: Sugar Loaf in April, Pen y Fan and Fan y Big on one weekend in July, and the Black Mountains in September.
We always enter teams for the national Fell and Mountain Relays, putting many of the "northern" fell running clubs to the sword, and having a jolly good time into the bargain.
Want to give it a go? Contact us or read how to join.
By the way, Mynydd Du is pronounced “munuth dee”, not "minid doo", but we don't mind too much as long as you don't call us "MDC"
